New search engine called Bing’s owned by microsoft expanded beyond google predictions. Only in a matter of months its market share has reached 11%. This is a big achievement, compare to Microsoft search engine (MSN) that had been previously controlled only gain 9% of the market share. This concern was also triggered by their market share decreasing in last three month.
Why Bing can quickly accepted in the market? On of the main reason is because Bing is not only offering a search results, but also offers content solution. So the searcher is not only dependent on search engine algorithms but they can determine how the search results they want.
To compete Bing new features, Google also added a new feature on their search engine. One of the new important breakthrough that google do is to add a new feature that allow a searcher to limit the search results based on time. This future will have a huge affect in SEO strategy.
If we used to had enough to optimize one page and can survive for a long time. Now everything has changed. For example, although we can be on a first page for a top keywords, but if the searchers limit their search only for new date results, while on the other hand we’ve been indexed out side of that date range we will definitely missing from the first page.
That’s why we must always updated our site to match the latest feature on Google’s. Certainly SEO competition will also change. May we can win a year range for a certain keyword. But if searchers limit their search results within a month range, are we still in the first page? This would be a big question!
