After we learn about on page SEO, its now time to learn about off page SEO. On my local blog, I have a very good example about on page SEO. I can place my blog on number one list of Google SERP for the term ‘review film kambing jantan’. It was a local movie review, and it was a popular movie.
Even so, being on top of the google list for that keyword is not something special. Because, Google only list not more than 4000 pages for that term of keyword. That’s why using on page SEO is enough to win the competition.
But for the real battle (more than 1,5 million pages competition), on page SEO wouldn’t be enough to put you on top of list. You need what it called off page SEO. Actually the main point of off page SEO is to find a back link for the page that we want to optimize. There was a ton of way you can do to find a back link, but ideally the link must contain three factor.
1. Our blog got link from higher rank than ours.
It seems difficult! But trust me, it is possible. Just make a good post or the easiest way is to make a list (like the most popular blog, SEO guru list, etc). Some of my blog got a back link from a higher ranking blog with this method. They will automatically link to your blog if they find your blog usefull.
2. Blog that give a back link have the same topic with ours.
This is way having a niche topic blog is very important. Because if you have a niche blog, your reader will be comes from that niche also. And they tend to have a niche blog that have the same topic with you. And when they decide to link to you than you will have a link from the sam topic.
3. They link us using the keyword that we want.
This is what we called about anchor text. If you want to be on number one list for term ‘review film kambing jantan’ than the link that pointing to your blog it has to use that exact keyword and their combination. The easiest part of doing this, is by commenting on do follow blog.
Use your keyword to include in your name when you commenting on others blog. For example you can use:
Gardino – kambing jantan the movie
Or
Kambing jantan the movie @ Gardino
