If you use google adsense from the old days than you must be realized that the income from these ads is decreasing from time to time. Whether the pay per click amount or the number of our visitor who click the ads.

In my experience, I have a blog that used to be have a great performance in google adsense. But after three years running my income from this blog is getting lower from day to day. And on the last month it’s only give me a dollar a month.

The truth is I did not really take care of these blogs. The main reason is because this blog url is gardino.info. Because everyone knows that the URL name ends with .info is less preferred search engine. I’ve tried to sell that blog, but nobody wants to buy it. Than again I think its because that .info stuff.

Even so I still extend that blog automatically each year. Therefore, the blogs are still alive though I did not take care of it. So, that’s why I tried to optimize it again recently.

Previous topic of this blog was a dating and marriage tips. With google adsense on the sidebar of the theme. Back in the old days, this way of google ads placement is enough to make money from it. But not now! So I change the theme of these blogs but still put google adsense on the side. To bad that the result has less effect on these blogs income, with these kind of ads placement.

So, I decided to change the total appearance blog. I even choose a different niche topic for it. This time the focus is on the front page. I put the tools there are ‘decorated’ google adsense. How did it go with this change?

With the low number of visitors, this blog performance was pretty good. The click trough rate value increases. In consequence this blog can generate at least about $ 2 – $ 3 per day. Not bad for the domain .info with a low traffic.

Whats conclusions? Google Adsense that once regarded as the easiest way to get money from the internet was not the same anymore. Internet user are beginning to realize the existence of these advertisements.

6. All posts must be written using correct grammar. If the advertiser finds your post to be using incorrect grammar it will be disputed and removed from your completed posts list. If you are like me who English is not my first language, I suggest you to use ms.word to write your review. So you correct it at that moment if any thing is wrong.

8. No copy cat. Check your post whit copyscape.

Ads unit Format

One thing I can tell you is people tend to use the 468×60 for their adsense form. Then no wonder if every internet user already realize that form is an ads. So, all you have to do is to avoid those form. Try to choose a rectangle form like 336×280, 300×250 or 250×250.

If you want to use a vertical form, then you better use 160×600. Avoid using this kind of format on 2 column website layout. If you use a 3 column layout use the middle sidebar between the main content and the side at the edge.

Ads placement

1.Remember to place your ads units on top of your website layout. So your visitor did not have roll the screen just to see your ads.

2.Don’t place your ads in one spot, spread it out all over your lay out

Use Blended or Stand-Out

Blended means the combination of your link color on ads units or links unit has the same color with your lay out color. In the contrary, Stand-Out means the calor are set to pierce the eye of your visitor so it can grab your reader immediately. Me, my self are prefer to choose the blended strategy. And I used to use the air type of ads so it look like did not have a border at all.

Choose your own shape

Even though those strategy work very well on my income, it might work differently on your website lay out. You can see, in this blog I did not use that trick. But I apply my pledge trick which I also apply in my other blog. That is to put the ads unit below the archive widget. I set the archive widget to drop down menu, so the visitor can get the illusion that ads as my archive. You can see, what I mean on the picture below.

Like it said detailed your blog description. For example: Dating Blog – PR5 – 2,000 unique visitors daily. This will help you getting more approved bid!

5. Improve your English.

Okay, I have to admit I have bad English. So if I have a job review especially with a hard understandable content, I tend to use a professional writer to do it for me. You can get those professional on forum or search them by their blog.
